Saint-Lambert has one of the oldest English-speaking communities on the South Shore, and some of its oldest housing. The streets around the Village and the Victoria Bridge date to the early twentieth century, while Préville filled in through the 1950s and 60s — which makes this the one place on the South Shore where we check the slab before we quote the floor.
Smaller lots mean compact attached garages and a fair number of detached rear ones. A polyaspartic coating suits both: it seals the concrete against salt and moisture, cleans with a hose, and is UV-stable so a detached garage with daylight will not yellow.

All our systems are polyaspartic-based: harder, faster to install and UV-stable, unlike traditional epoxy.

Saint-Lambert has the oldest garages we work on, and it is the one place where the honest answer is sometimes no. Around the Village and the streets near the Victoria Bridge, a garage built in the 1920s or 30s may never have had a proper slab — we have found packed gravel under a thin skim, slabs poured in sections at different times, and floors only two inches thick with no reinforcement. A coating needs sound concrete of reasonable depth to bond to and to carry the load. Préville and the 1950s and 60s streets are a different matter entirely: normal slabs, normal job.
Lots here are small, so garages are too — many are compact singles under 200 sq ft at $1,999.99, with most of the rest at $2,499.99.
