Candiac was planned rather than grown, and it shows in the garages. The original 1960s grid was laid out as a model suburb, and the waves of development since — particularly the riverside sectors and the growth around Jean-Leman — have added a lot of recent, well-built detached homes with double garages.
Newer slabs are the easiest and least expensive floors we do: no old paint to strip, no decades of oil to degrease. A polyaspartic coating seals the concrete before the first winter does any damage, and carries a 5-year written warranty.

All our systems are polyaspartic-based: harder, faster to install and UV-stable, unlike traditional epoxy.

Candiac garages are mostly modern and well built, so the detail that actually matters here is slope. A properly poured garage slab falls slightly toward the door so meltwater runs out rather than pooling, and in the newer Candiac developments that slope is usually correct. It changes how we finish the floor: we follow the existing fall rather than levelling it flat, because a dead-level garage floor holds water in winter and that is how salt gets time to work on the concrete at the edges. Where a slab has settled and now falls the wrong way, we will tell you before quoting, because a coating cannot fix drainage.
The detached homes through the Montcalm and Jean-Leman sectors are predominantly 450–550 sq ft doubles at $3,999.99, with some larger riverside builds going to a fixed custom quote.
