What we find in Mirabel garages
Mirabel is the newest housing stock we work in, and almost everything we coat around Saint-Janvier and the Domaine-Vert sectors is a first-time finish on a slab that has never had anything on it. That is the ideal starting point — no old paint to strip, no decades of oil to degrease — but new slabs bring their own two conditions: the concrete has to have cured, roughly 28 days from the pour, and the hard-trowelled builder’s finish has to be ground open so the primer can bond. Coating a new garage before the first winter is the cheapest time to do it, because you are protecting the slab instead of repairing it.
